**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Stability & Analytical Services Supervisor, the SAS Lab Support Technician is responsible for performing various tasks in support of the day-to-day operation of the SAS lab, sampling of raw materials, components and operating supplies, preparing shipments of client samples and basic analytical testing.

***This is a contract for a duration of 12 months**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare SRFs to sample raw materials, components, operating supplies, HPAPIs and APIs including
controlled substances
- Sample raw materials, including APIs, HPAPIs, excipients, components and controlled substances for
development studies
- Retrieve and deliver samples and documents to and from other departments
- Prepare samples for development studies and place them in stability chambers
- Package and ship samples to client/third party labs
- Calibrate and perform verification checks on laboratory testing equipment such as balances, pH meters, and
load cells
- Create submission forms for outside lab testing
- Inventory management of reagents in and out of the lab through AX, check reagent expiry on a monthly
basis and update lab reagent files
- Perform some analytical testing of bulk and finished products samples
- File and archive raw material, finished product and component documents
- Create POs to order lab supplies, reference standards and columns
- Discard bulk, finished product and stability samples after testing and data review are completed
- Clean lab glassware and dispose lab waste
- Follow GMP and regulatory requirements, and ensure quality standards are met
- Observe and support all safety guidelines and regulations
- Demonstrate the company mission, vision and values statement, policies, and current standard business
practices
- Other related duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- College diploma or University degree in a science-related discipline

**Experience**
- 6 -12 months of laboratory experience
- Acute attention to detail
- Well-developed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a self-directed team environment.
