Investment Services Administrator

**Job Function**:
The Investment Services Administrator is responsible for updating policies and procedures, monitoring transactions, filling out investment related documents, transfer requests, and monitoring daily reports. The incumbent will assist in estate related processes and duties including; approval of POA’s, transfer of T2033 requests, and tax form generation. The investment related responsibilities of the role are; the preparation of investment documents, keying in investment transactions, monitoring of daily RIF & Term reports and the generation of reporting documents.
**Key Responsibility Areas**:
A. Operations Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist in the approval of all POA’s
- Assist in all T2033 transfer requests
- Assist in processing index linked returns when investment service manager is absent
- Assist in the preparation of documents for members investment shares
- Key in investment shares transactions
- Monitor daily RIF payment reports term reports while notifying management of any exceptions
- Assist in the generation of annual Concentra Reports
- Assist in the balancing and reporting of annual tax slips
- Preparation of estate and deceased files
B. Other
- Maintain company files both electronic and hard copy
- Responsible for pulling historical statements and transactions
- Maintain proper archives of transactions
- All other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
Education and experience:
- Post-secondary education in business administration and 1 year experience in a financial institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A commitment to learning and development is required.
Core role competencies:
- Solid understanding of financial institution and industry standards
- Basic understanding of applicable privacy legislation
- Basic understanding of financial transaction and anti-money laundering regulations
- Solid computer and research skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced attention to detail and analytical skills
