We are seeking a creative, dynamic, committed professional to join our team:
Asset and Infrastructure Analyst

100% Regular

Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week (12 month work year)

**ESP Level 7**: $48,803 to $62,947

Under the supervision of the Team Lead, and working directly with a Senior Server Analyst or Senior Asset Management Analyst, the Asset and Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for the preliminary design, configuration, installation, security, support and troubleshooting of the data centers, end user computer (workstations/laptops/VDI), mobile device management and of distributed network equipment at all OCDSB locations. The Analyst will also assist in identifying, detecting and responding to security incidents.

Shift work may be necessary to ensure computer systems of the OCDSB are accessible to all users.

**Qualifications**:
Completion of a 3 year Community College Diploma or University Degree relating to systems analysis (for example, programmer analyst, data analyst) and 3 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of network topology, devices and protocols.

Knowledge of relevant Board policies and procedures.

Up-to-date knowledge of operating systems, security, software and scripting languages such as powershell.

Up-to-date knowledge and experience working in highly virtualized environments.

Organization, time management, and collaboration skills to prioritize work/projects and manage multiple priorities and concurrent demands.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to exchange and clarify information which can be complex.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Ability to support and provide technical assistance and training to users.

Ability to learn new materials and technology with and without instruction.

Experience working in a collaborative workspace, and a good understanding of issues that can develop when working in a “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) environment is desirable.

Demonstrates initiative in work behavior (ie. self-starter, proactive, and by being persistent in overcoming difficulties that arise), and must demonstrate the ability to work independently, with mínimal supervision.

Strong social media presence is an asset.

Access to reliable transportation for regular travel to Board sites.
