**Job Title**

Administrator, Tax Operations

**What is the opportunity?**

To manage the classification of clients, collection of core withholding tax documentation and production and filing of global tax relief forms to ensure the timely, accurate and efficient double tax treaty exemptions on global assets. Demonstrate high level of competency with the capability to validate overall activities with high level of accuracy.

**What will you do?**
- Assist in the reconciliation process between sub-custodian, client reporting platforms and internal reclaim system records.
- Prepare tax outstanding reporting for Monthly, Quarterly, Annually and Yearly.
- Assist portfolio setup to be opened in the requested market (Asia and Europe) by client.
- Control and record the collection of all core tax documentation to enable full tax service offering.
- Assist in the processing of all new accounts to ensure that all target production periods are met and acceptable levels of accuracy maintained.
- Adherence to all procedures and control functions, including reconciliations, as appropriate, to minimize financial loss to RBC and its clients.
- Maintenance of satisfactory internal and external Audit/Regulatory/Risk ratings and reviews.
- Support the Tax Operations management team in all initiatives to achieve standards of excellence in the tax relief service to clients.
- Establish relationships and effectively liaise with Agent Banks and Local Tax Authorities.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- Strong analytical capability with ability to manipulate data to identify trends
- Proficiency in MS Office product suite, particularly MS Excel & MS Access
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfort managing multiple tasks and meeting time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to mentor others
- Diploma/Degree in a related field, and/or 1-2 years’ experience working in operational environments

**Nice to have**
- 1-2 years’ experience in a Tax Operations field or tax related business
