Medaca’s clientele includes major insurers, third-party disability management administrators, and a wide range of private and public sector organizations including financial, transportation, power, education, law enforcement, retail, food, and pharmaceutical industries.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Ensure outstanding balances are kept updated
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Maintaining historical records of all invoices, reports, etc., by saving documents properly on the network
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits

**Qualifications**
- College diploma is an asset, or experience in a related field
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to complete a high volume of work within deadlines
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
- Strongly developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of basic accounting concepts
- Detail oriented
- Other tasks as required, flexible and adaptable regarding the needs of the organization

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
