**Position: SENIOR MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR**

**Reporting to**:Maintenance Manager

**Status/Shift**:Monday to Friday (shift may vary)

**Hours Worked per Week**:40 hours

**Salary**:TBA

**SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS**

Responsible for the coordination of the maintenance departments in two locations, and the company’s GMP, HACCP, CFIA, and Safety standards.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- **Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or Millwright or Industrial Electrical License) is required.**
- Refrigeration License (Class B) would be an asset.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar position
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills

**RESPONSIBILITIES / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE**
- Ensuring an effective system is in place to maintain equipment compliance to HACCP, GMP, SQF and quality requirements.
- Working on automated equipment (PLCs, robotics, motors, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, electrical and refrigeration equipment) as needed
- Technical knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Machining, Boiler, HVAC, Welding, and General Construction practices
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawing.
- Proven leadership, problem solving, coaching/mentoring, and training skills.
- Proven ability to handle conflict, align performance for success and initiate action.
- Must be team oriented and self-directed.
- Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
- Oversee training and supervision of staff.
- Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal.
- Other duties as required.
