We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to join our team. The successful Contracts Manager will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of procurement contracts, from initial strategy development to execution and performance management. The role requires strong expertise in procurement, contract strategy, negotiation, and compliance, with a focus on ensuring value for the organization and mitigating risks.
**What you’ll do**
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to define and implement comprehensive procurement and contract strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop and standardize contracting frameworks, templates, and processes to optimize efficiency and compliance.
- Provide strategic guidance on supplier selection, contract negotiation, and cost management to ensure best-in-class contracting practices.
- Lead the procurement process for high-value or complex contracts, including managing RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to assess procurement needs and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and long-term business goals.
- Draft, review, and negotiate terms and conditions for a wide range of contracts (e.g., vendor agreements, service contracts, partnerships, NDAs, etc.).
- Ensure all contracts are compliant with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies, as well as industry best practices.
- Manage contract renewals, amendments, and extensions, ensuring adherence to deadlines and terms.
- Monitor ongoing contract performance and address issues related to non-compliance, disputes, or deviations from agreed terms.
**What you bring**
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Contracts Manager [CPCM], Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply [CIPS]) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract management, procurement, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing complex contracts and procurement strategies.
- Strong understanding of procurement strategy, cost management, and contract law.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
