Industrial Forestry Service Ltd’s history is firmly rooted in the BC forest industry. After over 60 years, our track record of consulting and executing projects throughout Western Canada has made us the longest running forest consulting firm operating in Western Canada. Many of our senior consultants have been with us for more than 20 years, and our staff are experienced in all types of forest development projects across most silviculture and harvesting systems. We have a solid background in legislative and regulatory requirements for all forest tenures in BC.

Our Prince George and Dawson Creek locations are currently looking to secure employees for this season. We will have seasonal and permanent full time positions available.

**Seasonal Field Staff **are involved in a variety of field-related activities including: timber cruising, compassing, layout assistant, riparian assessments, silviculture assistant, and surveying assistant.

**Qualifications for this summer position include**:

- Preference will be given to students in a Natural Resource discipline or related area of study, however this is not a requirement.
- Must have the ability and ambition to work outdoors in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
- Must be willing and able to work in remote camp locations.
- Must be physically fit, well organized, and have the ability to work comfortably in a crew environment.

**Full Time Field Staff **are involved in all phases of a project including timber reconnaissance, block and road layout, GPS traversing, painting boundaries, SP field collection, cruising and compassing.

**Qualifications for this full time position include**:

- A Post-secondary degree or diploma in forestry or other natural resource related fields is not mandatory but is considered an asset.
- Must have the ability and ambition to work outdoors in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
- Must be willing and able to work in remote camp locations.
- Must be physically fit, well organized, and have the ability to work comfortably in a crew environment.
- Good communication skills and supervisory experience is an asset.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
