**Facilitation Specialist, Professional Learning**

**Requirements/Qualifications**
- B.Ed. and a minimum of 5 years experience in the K-12 education sector; a similar combination of education and experience will be considered
- Bilingualism (French and English) required
- Understanding of K-12 educators, their needs and the needs of their students
- Demonstrated experience delivering in person and/or online/virtual professional learning experiences with educators
- Experience designing train the trainer, preferably with educators and use of Adult Learning Principles
- First Nations, Métis, or Inuit heritage an asset
- A good understanding and knowledge of diverse Indigenous cultures across Canada
- Proven ability to successfully develop and implement work plans and educational programs
- Willingness to travel (to staff meetings in London, ON, educator conferences, professional learning sessions and/or client/customer meetings as required)

Le Spécialiste de facilitation, formation professionnelle renforce notre capacité à supporter les enseignants et enseignantes et les élèves à travers le Canada. Le titulaire du poste offrira des opportunités de formation professionnelle aux enseignants et enseignantes afin d’accroitre leurs capacités et leur confiance en utilisant les ressources de Parlons sciences. Le Spécialiste de facilitation, formation professionnelle supporte la philosophie d'une approche pratique de l'apprentissage des sciences, la technologie, l’ingénierie, et les mathématiques (les STIM) et s'efforce de rendre les STIM pertinents et attrayants pour les audiences cibles, tout en veillant à ce que les programmes et services fournis soient conformes aux pratiques actuelles en matière de pédagogie, de programmes d'études et d'évaluation. Le titulaire est responsable aussi pour la livraison de la formation, le coaching, et de guider les animateurs et animatrices sous contrat.

**Qualifications**
- Baccalauréat en Éducation et un minimum de cinq ans d’expérience en éducation de la Maternelle à la fin du secondaire; sinon une combinaison d’expérience et de travail et d’éducation
- Bilinguisme (Français et Anglais) obligatoire
- Compréhension des besoins des enseignants et enseignantes de la Maternelle à la fin du secondaire, et celles de leurs élèves.
- Expérience démontré à livrer les ateliers face à face et en ligne/virtuel avec les enseignantes et enseignants
- Expérience en développement de formation pour les formateurs, de préférence avec des enseignantes et des enseignants et utilisation des principes d'apprentissage pour adultes.
- Patrimoine des Premières-nations, Métis, ou Inuits sera un atout
- Une bonne connaissance des groupes et les cultures Indigènes au Canada
- Capacité avérée à élaborer et à mettre en œuvre avec succès des plans de travail et des programmes éducat
