**Job Title: Team Leader Community Support Worker**

Independent Counselling Enterprises (I.C.E.) is a province-wide agency that has been in operation since 1986. We offer supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are community based and strive to empower and foster independence in our clients.

**Terms of Employment**:Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm and occasionally on call

**Location**:North and South Edmonton

**Commitment**:One Year Required

**Qualifications**:

- Proof of Full Covid-19 Vaccination **_required._**
- Degree or diploma in rehabilitation or relevant field _**preferred.**_

**_-_**Proactive Behavior Intervention or Behavior Management Training **_required._**
- Experience working with people with disabilities _**required.**_
- Ability to deal effectively with behaviors an **_required._**
- Experience working with personal care an **r_equired_._**
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check and two work related references _**required.**_
- Minimum of Emergency First Aid with CPR level A _**required.**_

- **_Mental Health First Aid _**required.**_
- Vehicle, valid driver’s license and Third Party $2million liability insurance _**required.**_
- Valid work/study permit (if applicable) _**required.**_

**-**Willing to complete 2 ½ days of mandatory training.
- Willing to travel anywhere within Edmonton
- Outgoing, friendly and possess a positive and professional attitude, with demonstrated willingness to learn

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- **Maintaining appropriate documentations and records
- Performing bookkeeping duties
- supporting the client in the area of financial management

**-**Assisting clients with daily living skills and encouraging independence
- Community access; taking and participating with clients in community, social and employment activities and increasing inclusion in the community
- Performing personal care (bath assists, shaving, toileting)
- Administering medication
- Light housekeeping & simple meal preparation
- Working as a part of a residential team, being able to work independently and work in a team atmosphere
- Dealing with behaviors in a positive, calming manner
- Maintaining appropriate documentation records and confidentiality with clear communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00-$16.09 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
