This Road Technician (Heavy Duty) role performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs at the customer's location equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Our specialty line locations may have a fleet of large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment. This role will also be working in the shop when there are no field calls. Participation in our on-call rotation is mandatory. Our double-digit growth and internal promotion rate mean we are constantly looking to add top performers to our team.
$45/hr is our starting Red Seal rate. This amount may change based on experience or Apprenticeship level if applicable. Our Road Technicians report into our regional support office in Coquitlam but are dispatcher via their phones and are able to take their trucks home. each day.

**Education or experience that prepares you for success**:
- High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
- 1 to 3 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on**:

- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
