Relevant de la Vice-présidente Finance Corporative et trésorière, le Chef, gestion des risques et assurances fera une gestion active du portefeuille d’assurances, participera à l’élaboration et à la mise en place des stratégies de contrôle des risques assurables, et ce, tant au niveau des opérations qu’au niveau corporatif.

**Plus spécifiquement, le titulaire du poste**:
Participe activement au renouvellement annuel des programmes d’assurances et de leur optimisation en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec le courtier d’assurances;
Assure le traitement, la documentation et les suivis des réclamations en travaillant en collaborations avec les différents départements impliqués;
Travaille de façon proactive avec les opérations canadiennes et américaines afin d’optimiser le contrôle et la gestion des pertes;
Participe à l’opérationnalisation d’un plan d’actions de gestion des risques afin d’améliorer le profil de risques assurables de la Coopérative;
Responsable du suivi des indicateurs clés afin d’améliorer la visibilité sur les risques assurables;
Effectue une vigie de l’industrie de l’assurance et de ses meilleures pratiques.

Exigences

Baccalauréat en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe
5 à 10 ans d’expérience en assurance des entreprises
Excellente maîtrise d’Excel
Bilinguisme français et anglais, parlés et écrits (La personne travaillera avec toutes nos usines du Canada et États-Unis)

Reporting to the Vice President, Treasury, the Manager, Risk and Insurance Management actively manages the insurance portfolio and helps develop and implement risk control strategies for insurable risk at the operational and corporate levels.

**Specifically, the Risk Insurance Manager**:
Actively participates in renewing insurance plans annually and optimizes them by working closely with the insurance broker;
Ensures the processing, documentation and follow-up of claims by working in collaboration with the various departments involved;
Collaborates proactively with Canada Operations and US Operations to optimize loss control and management;
Helps operationalize risk management action plans to improve the Cooperative’s insurable risks profile;
Responsible of monitoring key indicators to improve the visibility of insurable risks;
Maintains an insurance industry watch and monitors best practices.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
5 to 10 years’ experience in business insurance
Excellent command of Excel
Bilingual French and English, written and spoken
