The Role

We are in search of a Risk Management Associate to join our existing Risk and Insurance team in Saint John, NB. This role will report to the VP of Risk and Insurance.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate all claims related activitiesReview first and third-party claims for eligibility, irregularities, accuracy and completeness, requesting additional information as necessaryPrepare proper documentation to file a claim and process it in the systemVerify insurance coverage, assist with claim settlement and handle paperwork related to claim settlementsEnsure accurate and timely reserving of claimsMaintain updated records and prepare required reportsWork collaboratively with internal and external partners, including domestic and international claim supportSupport non-claims related activities of the Risk Management department

Skills and experience required: 

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projectsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsPossess a detail-oriented approach to analysis.Excellent time management capabilitiesProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
