Patterson Dental is looking for a determined and resourceful person to join its dynamic team in the accounting department. Under the responsibility of the Accounting Manager, the incumbent will perform various accounting tasks.

**Major Duties**:

- Prepare various monthly reports for the senior management team such as reports tracking sales, promotions, and performance.
- Participate in the closing of the month and the analysis of monthly financial statements.
- Execute monthly analysis of the accounts and prepare reconciliations as well as the necessary adjustment entries.
- Create new reports occasionally.
- Respond to all internal and external auditors' requests.
- Participate in the verification and approval process of expense accounts in a computerized system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Job qualifications**:

- University degree in accounting or any other relevant experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and in French, to communicate with our clients and employees across Canada.
- 5-6 years of experience in a similar position.
- Problem solving skills and good analytical and strategic reasoning.
- Demonstrate rigor and autonomy and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of SAP software is an asset.
- Accounting multi-skilled person.

Patterson Dentaire est à la recherche d'une personne déterminée et débrouillarde pour se joindre à son équipe dynamique du service de comptabilité. Sous la responsabilité du gestionnaire comptable, le titulaire du poste effectuera diverses tâches comptables.

**Fonctions essentielles**:

- Préparer divers rapports mensuels pour la haute direction tels que le rapport de suivi des ventes, des promotions, et de performance.
- Participer à la fermeture du mois et à l’analyse des états financiers mensuels
- Effectuer les analyses mensuelles des comptes et préparer des conciliations ainsi que les entrées de régularisations nécessaires.
- Créer à l'occasion de nouveaux rapports.
- Répondre à toutes demandes des vérificateurs (internes et externes).
- Participer au processus de vérification et d’approbation des comptes de dépenses dans un système informatisé.
- Exécuter toutes autres tâches qui lui seront confiées.

**Formation et compétences**:

- Détenir un diplôme universitaire en comptabilité, ou toute autre expérience pertinente.
- Excellente maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit afin d’être en mesure de communiquer avec nos employés et clients à travers le Canada.
- Détenir 5 à 6 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire.
- Démontrer des habilités pour la résolution de problèmes, de même qu’un bon raisonnement analytique et stratégique.
- Faire preuve de rigueur, d’autonomie et pouvoir gérer plusieurs projets à la fois.
- Maîtriser la suite logicielle Office de Microsoft, plus particulièrement Excel et Word.
- Connaissance du logiciel SAP, un atout.
- Personne polyvalente au niveau comptable.
