**Description**

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the incumbent will be responsible for administrative support for the accounting team for the entire Humaniti Complex in Montreal.

Our Accounting Clerk will have the primary responsibility of assisting the Director and the rest of the accounting team in the administration and monitoring of daily accounting operations for companies owned by Cogir (Hotels, Rentals, Offices, Condominium Syndicate, and restaurants). He/she will be required to maintain regular and accurate books, as well as support employee file management and corporate billing tracking.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Support the management of invoices and supplier accounts for the four entities;
- Support the updating of financial aspects for our tenants and owners;
- Ensure follow-ups for payment delays;
- Perform certain recurring accounting transactions;
- Assist the Director of Finance in daily departmental monitoring;
- Manage supporting documents for verification purposes;
- Participate in month-end processes;
- Address departmental inquiries and explain errors;
- Any other related tasks.
- Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and the code of ethics in all areas of the company;
- Represent the Humaniti Complex Montreal in a professional manner at all times.

**Skills and Requirements**
- College or university degree in accounting or equivalent education.
- (1 to 5) years of experience in the field of accounting.
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
- Proactivity, initiative, and autonomy.
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Knowledge of PVNG, HOPEM, Upperbee, Targetvue, Fusebox, Lightspeed systems, an asset.
- Experience with the Marriott hotel chain, an asset.
