**NATURE & SCOPE**

Communications Coordinator will also extract information and produce reports for management to use as required or needed.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in updating the YMCA website using WordPress, including posting new content, making edits, troubleshooting issues, creating, and maintaining forms, tables, and automations
- Coordinate, create, and schedule social media posts across all channels, ensuring consistent branding and engaging content. Experience with video or animations is a plus
- Utilize graphic design principles and techniques to create visually appealing content using Adobe Suite,

Canva, and PowerPoint
- Communicate with internal clients to ascertain their strategic goals, offer solutions, and help drive projects from concept to completion
- Respond to on-line reviews (i.e., google) adhering to the YMCA Digital Engagement Guidelines and best practices
- Ensures consistency of brand, voice, and messaging across the Association
- Supports the design and delivery of the Print and Digital Association Marketing Materials
- Monitors Two-way communication channels and messages for various audiences (participants, members,

YMCA staff and volunteers, stakeholders)
- Set-up and monitor Paid Advertising/Boosted Posts
- Contributes to the YMCA of Niagara's overall strategic objectives by improving user experience across marketing and communications channels
- Work collaboratively within the marketing team to ideate integrations, lead generation and communication channels
- Assistance with crisis communications as required
- Reporting, analysis, and metrics
- General administrative support to the Manager of Marketing and Communications

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or applicable field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Familiar with all outlined computer programs and software
- Experience with Teams & Zoom virtual platforms.
- Experience & knowledge of SharePoint & One Drive for storing & accessing files remotely.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks
- Must have aptitude to work within a team environment
- Passion for technology and learning about new technologies
- Superior attention to detail and analytical skills
- A clear and satisfactory criminal reference check inclusive of the vulnerable sector search (CRC VSS) issued for the YMCA of Niagara
