**Reporting Analyst (Must be fluent in Japanese)**

**Job Summary**:
Under the supervision of JCB Director, control internal data of JCB team and create routine and new reports (e.g. revenue and portfolio performance report). Collaborate with colleagues in other departments and countries such as U.S. and Japan to drive a strategic planning and initiatives of the bank. Provide a solid internal control to JCB team and take necessary actions. (In future, we expect new hire to be a business unit risk manager of JCB)

**Primary Accountabilities**:Internal Data Control - create routine and new reports for JCB team including (but not limited to):

- Daily Transaction List
- Weekly Report (e.g. Loan and deposit balance, margin update)
- Biweekly Loan and Deposit Forecast (reporting to Canada Treasury and Canada Planning)
- Biweekly Bloomberg Data Update
- Monthly Performance Update (Profit Management Report)
- Monthly Update on ongoing projects
- Monthly Performance Update to NY JCIB Planning team
- Monthly Performance Update to NY Treasury team
- Bimonthly Performance Update and Forecast Preparation (reporting to Canada Planning
- End of Financial Year Performance Update

Strategic Planning and Initiatives - drive the business initiatives for JCB team in a collaboration with JCIB NY and Tokyo including (but not limited to):

- Financial and non-Financial Target Setting at the beginning of each financial year (KPI, BSC)
- Creation of JCB Canada's Business Strategy and Key initiatives (once a year or ad-hoc)
- Reporting to JCIB NY and Tokyo on the progress of key initiatives
- Weekly JCIB Americas Meeting participation and making a brief notes for other JCB members
- Biweekly JCIB Tokyo Meeting participation and making a brief notes for other JCB members
- Monthly JCB Meeting Organizer
- Semi-annually JCB FX Seminar Organizer

Internal Control Enhancement - responsibilities including (but not limited to):

- CDOR Transition project
- Parameter Update
- Other risk and operational issue management for JCB team

**Technical Skills**:

- Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Particularly, advance level of data management skill in Excel is necessary to make a performance forecast on a certain business assumption)
- Data analytical skills
- Presentation skills (mainly internal)
- Fluent Japanese Speaker

**Experience Required**:

- 3+ years experience in business, preferably in a financial industry, and engaging in a data management role
- Accurate and strong attention to number and detail
- Logical thinking
- Team player with motivation and drive

**Education & Training**:

- B.A.

**Work Environment**:

- Office / WFH split
- Overtime incl. occasional conference calls with overseas offices
