Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Chef to join our team. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring high-quality food preparation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the kitchen staff, including training and supervising
- Create innovative and high-quality menu items
- Ensure food preparation meets quality standards and complies with food safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:
- cooking: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (required)
