- Works to determine enterprise security controls and identify any threats to the infrastructure.
- Diagnoses complex network, storage and server issues and implements corrective solutions.
- Tracks vulnerabilities, applies remediations and patches to network and server assets.
- Conducts feasibility studies to determine the likelihood of proposed project's success in the current environment.
- Provides proactive network/server monitoring to ensure optimum performance and acts on real-time alerts of critical issues.
- Performs hardware, software, and firmware upgrades - researches and recommends network upgrades.
- Evaluates effectiveness of current systems and supports in developing improvement strategies based on the findings.
- Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
- Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
- Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
- Hardware Infrastructure.
- Version control.
- Verbal & written communication skills.
- Collaboration & team skills.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Influence skills.
- Data driven decision making.
- Cisco Catalyst and Nexus product lines
- BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, L3-7 switching, QoS, HSRP and VoIP
- Experience supporting, implementing, and configuring Cisco DNA, SDA, SDN, or SD-WAN.
- Cisco Wi-Fi (or similar) APs and controllers in a large campus environment.
- Experience with supporting various WAN technologies including MPLS, point-to-point, and VPN.
- Juniper and/or Checkpoint Firewalls is required.
- Security experience with IPsec, NAT, VPN, and NAC.
- Service Now and/or similar platform
- ** Network management tools such as IBM NOI, StableNet, SevOne, NetScout, SPLUNK, Cisco ISE, Cisco DNAC, Cisco vManage, Tufin, AlgoSec are required.**:

- Knowledge/experience with Broadcom/Bluecoat Proxy is a plus.
- Knowledge/experience with ClearPass or Forescout
- Complex Problem Solving.

**Salary**:
$60,000.00 - $111,700.00

**Pay Type**:
Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
