Diamond Delivery is a leader in providing transportation solutions - we have been transporting freight and packages for over 44 years. Our industry experience, fleet capabilities, professional drivers, and modern tracking system ensure quality service to our clients throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, the Okanagan and Northern BC.

We currently have an opportunity for a Manager to lead our Victoria team of staff and drivers.

**Duties would include but are not limited to the following**:

- Ensure employees adhere to company policies, processes, and standards of performance and behavior.
- Build a cohesive team in terminal; train and mentor staff to operate at maximum efficiencies; hire and train any new staff as required.
- Ensure all staff are trained to provide best customer service possible.
- Review and maintain employee safety policies including forklift training, dangerous goods training etc.
- Assess all processes from customer service, billing and dispatch to loading and unloading of trucks to ensure best practices are being followed; making changes were applicable.
- Ensure all policies and guidelines are followed and maintained for employee and driver hires, training and discipline.
- Review and assess driver routes and dispatcher efficiency to ensure best use of resources and ensure capability for growth.
- Review service failures and determine root causes; find solutions for same.
- Review feasibility of large accounts; renegotiate rates and service levels as required.
- Consistently review and make changes in the operations to keep with changing markets.
- Monitor line haul load percentages.
- Analyze all hourly trucks and profitability.
- Review monthly financial reports and make adjustments where necessary.
- Grow revenues via customer visits, calls, cold calls etc.

- 2+ years Operations Management
- 2 years Outside Sales (preferred)
