**WHAT’S THE OPPORTUNITIY?**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Programs & Services to join our Youth Development team In this role you will oversee Camino’s youth engagement strategy along with the Pathways to Education Program and our Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Classrooms. We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with youth and the unique ways in which they engage and learn.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**:

- Leads and works in alignment with Camino’s core values to help achieve the organization’s mission and vision
- Participates in the preparation of the organization’s annual plan and the department’s strategic and operational plans.
- Defines the scope of projects and resources (e.g., service levels, budget) in collaboration with Director Programs and Services to meet department and funder productivity and quality goals.
- Develops program financial budgets that meet funder requirements, maintains cost allocations, monitors spending and ensures financial results are within approved budgets.
- Supports and drives quality improvement initiatives and engagement across the department.
- Participates in the development of program policies, procedures, guidelines, standards, and initiatives.
- Coordinates and/or compiles regular and special statistical reports related to program operations; evaluates the quality and effectiveness of programs and services by analyzing relevant data and conducting program audits.
- Participates in the recruitment, interviewing, selection, and training of new employees.
- Provides advice, guidance, and leadership to Supervisors/Team Leaders regarding performance expectations, case load, productivity, and professional development (including mentoring, coaching, performance management).
- Coaches, mentors, and develops new Supervisors/Team Leaders and team members, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
- Ensure assigned programs are designed to deliver exceptional quality of service; if necessary, uses relevant data to review the program design and outcomes and recommends appropriate changes.
- Collaborates with colleagues across the organization to ensure efficient and effective program delivery.
- Seeks out and maintains knowledge of current best practices in the field; shares information with team members and colleagues, and evaluates programs in relation to those best practices.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required and participate in shared leadership rotational on-call process as needed to manage 24-7 organizational risk - this is not a hybrid or remote role.
- Someone who will be an advocate/ally to the youth we serve.
- Skilled at developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with various community partners.
- Proven experience working with data and processes.
- Experience with large group facilitation.

**ARE THERE BONUS POINTS?**
- Masters or bachelors degree in Social Work, Community Development, Recreation, Youth Development, Mental Health or related field.
- Lived experience as a newcomer or other equity deserving group to reflect the community that we serve
- Training in mediation, restorative justice and/or conflict resolution
- Experience working with neuro divergent youth
- Experience working in the not-for-profit sector
