London International Academy is the leading private International Secondary boarding school in London, Ontario. Our campus is in the heart of Downtown London. London International Academy (LIA) is seeking a long -term full time individual in maintenance and handy in all aspect of small building maintenance responsibilities.
**Job Goal**:The Full time maintenance staff is responsible for assisting Maintenance manager in performing all general maintenance duties within the offices, as well as any other miscellaneous duties assigned to ensure that LIA residences are properly maintained in a healthy and safe manner.
Compensation will be based on experience.

- Knowledgeable in maintenance and repairs of student residence items
**Responsibilities**:
- Minor repair and maintain all bathroom fixtures and plumbing within the building (this includes issues to blockage, overflow, and sealing, etc.)
- Minor electrical installation and repairs
- Fix/repair/replace lighting, walls, ceiling, windows or doors, locks as needed
- Fix/repair broken furniture such as desks, beds, and other residence items
- Gardening /Parking lot /sidewalks cleaning, and snow removal salting as needed
- Replacing ceiling tiles and interior /exterior painting as needed
- Furniture assembly and relocate furniture when needed, and complete proper inventory forms
- Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment
- Report damages and vandalism
- Other duties as required
**Requirements**:
- Preferred minimum 1 years of construction/ building/ warehouse maintenance.
- Operate medium machinery and tools as needed with ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of basic tools electrical and plumbing (preferred but not required)
- Police Vulnerability check cleared
**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
