**Become a connected **Accounting Manager**

Responsible for all areas that relate to general accounting and to develop and maintain accounting procedures, practices, and principles to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.

**Your contribution**

**The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
**Month-End Process**
- Responsible for producing financial statements, compare results with the budget and explain variances
- Oversee bank reconciliations
- Ensure all accruals of revenues and expenses are done
- Manage intercompany transactions
- Tracking balance sheet account reconciliations
- Amortization of deferred revenues and prepaid expenses
- Government tax remittances

**Accounts Payable**
- Manage the accounts payable team (2 people)
- Ensure accuracy of accounting distribution and treatment, and approve vendor invoices

**Capital and Intangible Assets**
- Manage assets in the NetSuite fixed assets module, including setting the proper monthly depreciation schedule
- Reconcile all accounts with the G/L monthly

**Cash Management**
- Prepare 12-week cash flow projections for cash management
- Plan supplier payments with the Accounts Payable team

**Year-End Process**
- Be the liaison with the audit and tax firms for managing the year-end audit and tax returns
- Prepare, with the help of the finance team, year-end audit schedules
- Coordinate with the finance team to obtain all appropriate backup documentation as required by the auditors

**Working Conditions**
- The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet month-end deadlines.**Our contribution**

**The profile we are looking for**

Experience
- 5 to 8 years experience in a similar role

Education/Certification/Designation
- BCom in accounting
- CPA designation*

Competencies
- High level of accuracy and efficiency, attention to detail
- Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
- Ability to anticipate deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle tight deadlines
- Proficient in both French and English

Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Solid computer skills: good knowledge of Excel functionalities (pivot tables, vlookups, sumif/sumifs, data sorting and filtering), Google and/or Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite*
- Any experience for these above would be considered as an asset
