**About Us**
**Role Summary**
- The HR Coordinator serves a key role in our Global HR Organization supporting our AmericasHR team to deliver effective and seamless HR solutions to our internal customers. This role offers a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to managing various short to medium-term HR projects where one will have the freedom to work autonomously. This role is also a hybrid role (part onsite, part remote), and will be working in our Vancouver Office.
In this highly visible role, the HR Coordinator will not only be customer-service focused but work with a sense of urgency and have a propensity towards being detailed oriented to drive for accuracy in a very fast-paced environment. The HR Coordinator will come with great people, organizational and problem-solving skills.
**What You Will Do**:
- Support and drive HR transaction requests including, compensation changes, employee status change requests, and handling employee transfers and exits, employment verification letters etc., and ensure these changes/updates are captured accurately and timely in appropriate HR systems.
- Maintain HR documentation and employee files by ensuring accuracy/up-to-date info. is captured and we are compliant with local regulations.
- Will be the first point of contact for day-to-day HR inquiries and help to resolve them and/or route them to appropriate HR teams as needed. Americas onboarding champion
- manage and coordinate our Americas On-Boarding programs for our new hires and ensure there is a positive onboarding experience for our new hires
- In partnership with our benefits administrators, help and administer health benefits packages, troubleshoot benefit issues, basic reports, and escalate to benefits carriers as needed.Primary point-of-contact for benefits administration.
- Support the Talent Acquisition (TA) team with TA processes as needed
- Coordinate event planning and organizing employee events/conferences (e.g., Career fairs, expos, events, etc.)
- Support Americas HR vendor management closely working with the Purchasing team on purchase orders and maintaining current POs in the Procurement tool (SAP).
- Support HR’s ongoing and yearly programs in partnership with the AmericasHR team.
- Maintain and update our Americas HR intranet as needed.
- Support ad-hoc/special projects, activities, and processes to support the Americas HR team (e.g., policy updates, program rollouts, Inbox management, etc.)
**What You Will Bring**:
- Ability to work with highly confidential information
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks to meet competing deadlines
- Ability to communicate efficiently in both written and verbal
- Customer-service-oriented mindset with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service experience
- Detailed oriented with project management experience
- Some experience working with HRIS or similar systems - prior experience working with SuccessFactors and Lever a plus
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Teams and Outlook
- 1 year administrative experience is an asset
