Accounts Payable Specialist

**Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm onsite**

**Experience, Education, Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- 1-2 years related experience
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping processes
- Post secondary education, such as a Diploma in Accounting is preferred
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Fast learner, Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Posting of inventory and inter-company invoices
- Confirming with purchasing team on the price and quantity variances in payable invoices
- Following up with receiving teams on inventory non-receipt or short receipt issues
- Reconciling vendor statements for unposted items
- Filing and assistance with documentation control and audit support by ensuring electronic copies of supporting documents, invoices, approvals, and proof of deliveries are saved or filed by vendor name in AP inbox and AP network shared folder
- Assisting with Freight and Brokerage invoice uploading into ERP system
- Assisting with posting of receipt or return of inventory, after reviewing with AP lead or cost accountant
- Scanning of checks to be deposited as part of AR duties
- Other tasks as assigned.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
