**Description & Details**:
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations and working closely with the manufacturing team, The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, obtaining and retaining new clients as well as the development and sales of new products.

The objective of the Business Development Coordinator role is to solicit and secure new clients; aid in the development of new products; and to sell and promote all approved products. You will also be responsible for proactively identifying, soliciting and motivating targeted prospects using a variety of methods such as cold-calling, lead qualifying, presenting proposals and sales funnel management. You will be expected to build strong relationships, communicate openly, and proactively work with other departments.

**Duties**
- Actively manage multiple priorities, accountabilities and client requests in a fast-paced environment
- Research and develop new opportunities within key target markets
- Identify, solicit and motivate targeted prospects using a variety of methods
- Connect and engage with vendor and partner community to pursue new opportunities
- Coordinate and arrange business development meetings and appointments
- Complete CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) product-development activities such as obtaining feedback from our customers and community about their experience with our products; identifying key areas of improvement; brainstorming and strategizing on how to carry out improvements; facilitating and managing product testing; analyzing and interpreting testing results to determine appropriate strategies
- Prepare sales/product presentations and pitches for prospective clients
- Create agendas, proposals, cost estimates, proposals, agreements and briefing documents for internal and external meetings
- Create and maintain client databases and mailing lists
- Track submitted proposals and provided feedback to management
- Perform effective administration duties, related to product sales and business development
- Complete reporting on a regular basis, highlighting trends and identifying channel / market opportunities
- Meet required KPIs and sales targets
- Follow company Sales policies and procedures, including price/product guidelines and new installation procedures
- Present a professional image

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to create and maintain effective and productive relationships with clients, vendors and office employees
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to recognize and understand key business indicators and competitive trends

- Ability to build and maintain credibility and follow through on commitments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven skills in time management and managing multiple priorities simultaneously

- Possess a strong sense of urgency, pro-activeness and a high drive for results
- Ability to identify and solve problems independently as well as work effectively in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver’s license

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
