BDC is currently undergoing a digital transformation program. One of its key transformation objectives is to improve the efficiency of its loan origination process by leveraging various digital capabilities in order to provide a better overall user experience for its customers and employees. As part of this digital transformation and in the context of moving to an Agile way of working, product groups will be formed based on business areas.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Product Manager is the person in the team who acts as the "stakeholder spokesperson". He or she represents the needs and desires of the stakeholder community to the agile delivery team. In this role, the Product Owner clarifies all the details of the stakeholder's wishes or requirements for the solution, and is also responsible for prioritizing the work the team will do to deliver the solution. The Product Manager's goal is to get the answers in a timely manner so that the team can stay focused on their tasks. The product manager must also present the work done by the agile team to the stakeholder community. This includes organizing demonstrations of the solution to key stakeholders as it evolves, and keeping them informed of the team's progress.

THE CHALLENGES TO BE MET- Ensure proper communication of the product vision and roadmap;- Assessing the value of the work and prioritizing to ensure the team is focused on the highest value items that are aligned with the product vision;- Identify issues to be resolved, collaborate on the development of business requirements in order to prioritize them;- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and various stakeholders to achieve the product vision;- Be the go-to person for information (business or technical, depending on the context) on the domain;- Work in an agile environment and continuously review business needs, refine priorities, define milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks based on changing stakeholder needs;- Track and communicate the team's progress to interested stakeholders, which may include teaching them how to access and understand the team's dashboard.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- University degree in Business Administration or Computer Science/IT or other job related degree;- 5 years experience as a product manager or in a similar role;- PSPO designation an asset as well as an experience in the banking industry;- You have experience and in-depth knowledge of agile process and principles;- You have experience in developing CRM tools and financing modules including these ecosystems - an asset;- You know how to work with multidisciplinary teams (i.e. developers, QA, BA, Scrum Master etc...);- You are interested in the changing needs of entrepreneurs and the realities of their ecosystems;- You are recognized for your skills in stakeholder management, communication, presentation and leadership;- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, where objectives must be met within tight deadlines and where you must sometimes work with incomplete data;- You are growth oriented, always curious to learn and used to working in a problem solving mode;- You are bilingual in English and French.
