**Main Purpose**:
The Bilingual Credit & Collections Analyst plays a crucial role within the accounting department and accounts receivable team. They are responsible for managing customer accounts and recovering outstanding payments. The role involves assessing customer creditworthiness, analyzing, and establishing appropriate credit limits, monitoring account balances, and communicating with customers to resolve payment issues.

**Main Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Perform periodic account reconciliations.
- Ensure regular account maintenance by updating information and making necessary adjustments.
- Analyze and propose solutions to contentious situations.
- Respond to customer queries regarding account statements and their accounts.
- Analyze payment history, financial data, and credit information.
- Prepare credit limit increase recommendations and present them to Credit Manager.
- Establish and maintain outstanding customer service to promote problem resolution.
- Collaborate with the sales department to improve the efficiency of the collection and account adjustment process.

**Education Requirements**
- AEC/DEP in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Spoken languages: French and English
- Experience working with the AS/400 system (an asset).
