MD Management Limited, a division of Scotia Wealth Management, has an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic, and client-focused Financial Consultant to join our team.

As a Financial Consultant, you will be responsible for prospecting, retaining and growing MD’s market share in the medical student, resident and new in practice physician communities.

**Is this role right for you? In this role you will**:

- Be accountable for the completion of financial plans addressing the areas of goal setting, cashflow/budgeting, debt and education funding, investment management, medical practice incorporation/planning, tax mitigation, risk management, retirement planning and estate planning
- Build rapport and trusted relationships with MD clients through active listening
- Develop an appreciation of what is important to clients and recommend an approach based on their level of understanding and interest, tailored to their specific needs and goals
- Recommend investment strategies, ensuring compliance with all industry regulations, MD program and process requirements and Scotiabank risk appetite and culture
- Prepare and execute quarterly business plans
- Participate and/or conduct financial planning seminars and other hosted events throughout the region
- Partner with marketing and management concerning potential new products and services

**The Must Haves**:

- University degree in business, commerce or equivalent degree related to the practice of financial planning
- Completion of Life License Qualification Program and other regulatory requirements
