When you become a VON Volunteer we will match your interests and availability to a volunteer role that’s right for you. We offer the training you need and ensure you are supported through frequent communication - support is always a call away.

A _**Volunteer Visitor**_ offers support and social interaction to an isolated individual through regular friendly visits at the client’s home or out in the community, encouraging active and independent living.

Visits are usually 1-2 times a week and anywhere from 1-3 hours long.
- Requirements:_
1. Vulnerable Sector Check (VON reimburses you if there is a fee)
2. Provide 2 references

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $0.01 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
