Mallard Home Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Hand to join our team. As a Lead Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various home renovation and expansion projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for someone with extensive experience in roofing and general construction, who is committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- ** Project Management**:

- Oversee and coordinate daily activities on job sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Supervise and support team members, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards and adheres to safety regulations and building codes.
- ** Client Interaction**:

- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, addressing any concerns and providing updates on project progress.
- Conduct site visits with clients to discuss project requirements and expectations.
- ** Quality Control**:

- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the company's quality standards and client expectations.
- Identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies promptly.
- ** Material Management**:

- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials to job sites.
- Manage inventory and ensure all necessary tools and materials are available for each project.
- ** Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including time tracking, material usage, and job progress.
- Prepare and submit reports to management as required.
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing and general construction.
- Proven track record of managing and leading construction teams on job sites.
- ** Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of various roofing materials and installation techniques, including metal, rubber, cedar, solar, and fiberglass.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- ** Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.

**Schedule**:

- 10 hour shift
