Salius Rehab Elder Care division continues to grow and we are looking for an amazing Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team and work in residential care. This is a position for 22.50 hours per week for a site in Langley, BC.

This is a unique opportunity where you will be able to

- Work with seniors on more than exercises and falls prevention, you get to learn about them and build relationships
- Work alongside talented therapists and enjoy the benefits of one on one mentorship with clinical practice leads who have 10+ years of professional experience
- Work with seniors, learn their stories and experience history
- Set your own pace at work

Key responsibilities include
- Implements a rehabilitation program with the client as directed by the PT and/or OT
- Promotes maximum independence of the client in the care-site
- Basic equipment maintenance
- Completing detailed paperwork to document the client's progress
- Provide support to PT/OT
- Complete other tasks as requested
- Completes other tasks as requested

**Education**:

- Completion of a recognized Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Rehabilitation Assistant College Program. Salius Rehab will also consider a university degree in Kinesiology.

- Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
