**THE ROLE**:
The **VP EHR Product and Solutions,** is responsible for maximizing the value of the product line(s) they oversee and will help manage the development of VitalHub’s portfolio of Electronic Health Record and Care Coordination products.

As VP EHR Product and Solutions, you will help manage the product roadmap, gather feature requests, assist with sprint coordination and prioritization, and manage release schedules and processes. You will work with our customers on gathering requirements, identify broader user needs within the customer base and work with and liaise with our cross-functional teams. In your role you will play a pivotal role in the advancement of client centred health and community-based care.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Serving as the primary source of information for the cross-functional team, with respect to product roadmap, timelines, and releases, offering clear definitions of the targeted capability, the intended value to the customer and all requirements.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders in the development of user requirements
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in the design of the solution. This could include prototyping, creating mock ups, etc.
- Participating in the development of product roadmaps and delivering solutions that will maximize value
- Resolving complex business problems through the use of analytics including advocating for customers by owning issues, forming solutions, and defining outcomes to successfully deliver on the roadmap.
- Working with the VP of Solution Architecture on functional specifications and product design
- Creating user stories for the development team and communicates the voice of the customer in the scrum process.
- Supporting internal stakeholders to define, manage and help prioritize product backlog items
- Maintaining a good understanding of customers’ expectations, and points of pain to effectively communicate this knowledge to the development team to enable focus on deliverables and priorities.
- Assisting the Development and Professional Services teams on the assignment of Stories, Epics and Tasks within Agile Sprints
- Partnering with the Manager of Product Development, monitor the health and statuses of all sprints
- Working closely with developers and QA staff when clarifications and/or additional information is required
- Participating in the responsibility for scheduled recurring status meetings relating to the assigned product, including weekly statuses and sprint planning sessions and retrospectives.
- Conducting final review of new features, demoing functionality to customers and getting feedback that would be turned into updated/new user requirements and functional designs.
- Overseeing the documentation of release notes, updating user manuals and when appropriate training material for the new functionality
- Providing oversight on and contributing to report specifications, and overseeing their development and testing
- Leading and mentorship on all customer configurations, ensuring optimized product implementations
- Advocating for customers by gathering customer feedback, identifying trends and problems, and working with the product teams on potential solutions
- Oversee internal communications and training of all new functionality
- Reporting on the progress of Sprints and Releases
- Identifying and escalating project or release issues identified by the product teams
- Acting as an “ambassador” for the product both inside and outside the company
- Drafting key objectives and results, formulating strategies, and gathering the appropriate data to make business decisions
- Supporting sales opportunities by assisting with RFP responses, costing of new functionality preparing for and delivering demonstrations to potential customers.
- Assisting with external stakeholder webinars associated with user groups and new functionality
- Assisting with the user group meetings, through the development of agenda items, materials, and leading sessions.
- Recognizing profitable revenue opportunities in our existing and related sectors through customer interaction, user group meetings and monitoring trends in the sector.
- Knowing our competitors and their functionality.

**THE RIGHT PERSON**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in system design, computer science, or health information science
- Experience as a Product Owner, or demonstrated equivalent product responsibilities
- You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on customer needs.
