The Compensation Range includes the span between the minimum and maximum base salary. The midpoint of the range is approximately halfway between the minimum and the maximum base salary and can be considered for an employee with full job knowledge, required qualifications and experience for the position.

**Organizational Status**
We are currently looking forward to welcoming a Full-time Hospitality Management Program Developer and Reviewer. You will be part of our fantastic team and report directly to the Director of Academics. You’ll be part of a team of experienced and passionate people who believe in higher education and work hard behind the scenes to help its students thrive in Canada. You will be responsible for designing and developing inclusive educational content, resources and curriculum.

**Job responsibilities**:
1. **Policy and Governance**
- Develop, review, and update academic policies and standards.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and external accreditation standards.
- Oversee the implementation of academic and strategic plans.

2. **Program Development and Review**
- Evaluate and approve new academic programs, courses, or curriculum changes.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing programs to ensure quality and relevance.
- Recommend program modifications or discontinuations based on data and feedback.

3. **Faculty and Staff Matters**
- Participate in hiring, tenure, and promotion processes for academic staff.
- Assess faculty performance and provide recommendations for development.
- Mediate disputes involving faculty or academic staff when necessary.

4. **Student-Related Responsibilities**
- Review and adjudicate academic appeals and misconduct cases.
- Provide input on student support services, including advising and counseling.

5. **Research and Scholarly Activities**
- Promote research excellence and ethical standards.
- Monitor progress and outcomes of research initiatives.

6. **Community and Institutional Representation**
- Represent the academic community in institutional governance.
- Act as a liaison between departments, students, and administration.
- Participate in public or industry-focused events to advocate for the institution.

7. **Advisory Role**- Provide guidance on academic priorities and resource allocation.
- Offer insights on emerging trends in education and research.
- Act as a sounding board for administrative leadership on academic issues.

**Supervision Received**
Works independently and in collaboration with the Director of Academics. The performance is evaluated for efficiency, effectiveness, achievement of objectives, and quality of work.

**Supervision Given**
Work closely with the Director of Academics to provide training to new instructors.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in hospitality management, Hotel Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in hotel operations, food and beverage management, event planning, or related areas.
- Previous teaching or training experience in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum one year of instructional experience or hold a training certificate in adult education
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, cultivate a positive learning environment, and promote student engagement and success.
