We’re on the hunt for a **Program Manager** on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

**Role**:
The Program Manager - Information System will identify and manage the important changes required to adapt the information systems to the needs of an assembly line of satellites and satellite products in the context of manufacturing 4.0.

**Tasks**:

- Oversees the activities of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery.
- Manages and prioritizes the project stream, working with internal customers to determine project definition and business requirements.
- Provides budget analysis, resource allocation and coordination of project activities that may be across functional areas within the organization.
- Assigns and monitors work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time and within budget.
- Monitors reliability and any internal issues that appear as a result of the project.
- Develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Ensure correct staffing levels on programs and competency matching the project’s needs.
- Prepares detailed schedules to track the program progress on a day-to-day basis, holds frequent and regular assessments of costs to date and estimates to complete and develops work-around plans as required to achieve cost and schedule objectives.
- Identifies and manages program risks and opportunities.
- Maintains hands-on control of the program through a process of regular program reviews, design reviews and audits, workarounds plan meeting, staff meetings, program meetings and the like.
- Provides technical and administrative guidance, direction and decision-making to the program team.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 5 years’ experience of IT program / project management.
- Computer science or similar degree, Bachelors in engineering or a related field
- Experience with negotiations, risk management, contract management, subcontract management, financials.
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Good coordinating and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize and display a high level of adaptability/flexibility
- Communication skills in both French and English required.
