**About the role**

Are you ready to lead, inspire, and make a tangible impact? We’re on the hunt for a driven and energetic Retail Area Manager to take charge of our retail operations and future expansion. As the face of our retail leadership, you’ll work with the small and energetic team in Vancouver and with our global Retail team at HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, to shape the future of our expansion in Canada, ensuring every customer walks away inspired and our stores achieves its potential. Today we have one store, in a year from now we expect you have opened at least two more

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Lead with passion**: Guide, mentor, and inspire a high-performing retail team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
- **Create unforgettable moments**: Elevate in-store service to ensure every customer enjoys personalized, memorable experiences.
- **Drive operational success**: Implement efficient ways of working and ensure retail standards are flawlessly executed.
- **Keep a sharp focus on KPIs**: Establish, monitor, and refine metrics to consistently deliver operational excellence.
- **Collaborate to grow**: Work cross-functionally to align with different functions and ensure smooth communication.
- **Ensure consistency and quality**: Maintain visual merchandising, operational standards, company and employer policies and responsibilities.

- Proven track record of success in retail management, preferably within the sports industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with store managers and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand data and make informed decisions.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
- Flexibility to travel and work across multiple stores as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.

- Salary Range estimate of $95 000-$110 000 a year. Pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
