**Who we need**:
As we continue to expand and enhance our services, we are looking for a people and operations leader to join us as **General Manager, Event Production Services.** You will oversee our day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of the business, from production and rentals to client relations and team management. You will spearhead people and performance management and work closely with our founder and the leadership team to drive growth, evolve our offerings, and maintain high-quality standards.

**You will**:

- _ Oversee all operations and projects._ You will manage day-to-day business operations, including audio/visual production, staging and set design, and event technology rentals. You will ensure the seamless execution of projects, from initial planning to post-event evaluation. You will oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures. You will collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- _ Drive growth._ You will foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions. You will draw on your insights and experience to develop and implement strategic business objectives and lead the execution of these plans. You will monitor and analyze key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. You will maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and technological advancements to stay ahead of the competition.
- _ Be a people leader._ You will manage and nurture a best-in-the-business team that shares our passion for behind-the-scenes equipment, technology and staging of events. You will foster an environment encouraging hustle, commitment, adaptation, and excitement to tackle challenges and solve problems. You will develop a robust workforce of AV technicians, drivers, and labourers. You will be involved in the end-to-end employee experience, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.

**You have**:

- _ The leadership experience. _You are coming directly from an audiovisual systems background or another facet of the live event production industry. You have in-depth experience overseeing resource allocation, people on the ground and company operations, with the leadership skills to motivate and firmly manage a diverse, hardworking team. You come with solid business acumen, strategic thinking, and best practices for successful operations and infrastructure setup. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can step back and look at the bigger pic
