**What Will Your Next Role Look Like?**

This is an exciting time to be part of Peliplat We are looking to get our voice and leadership. Therefore, you will be responsible for taking our mission, vision and core values to success by building our HQ in Vancouver, BC. As a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will guide our team to continuous growth. You will be responsible for driving Peliplat's overall strategy and operations. This role will require a deep understanding of the film industry.

**Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Leadership**: Develop and implement the company's strategic plan to advance its mission and objectives, promoting revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.
- **Operational Oversight**: Oversee the company's operational, financial, and administrative functions. Ensure effective management and operational procedures are in place.
- **Innovation and Growth**: Drive innovation in product offerings and user experiences. Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's reach in the film industry.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Act as the primary spokesperson for the company, representing it at industry events, conferences, and the media. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, partners, and the community.
- **Team Leadership**: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing executive team. Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and inclusivity within the organization.
- **Financial Management**: Oversee the preparation of the annual budget, manage resources within budget guidelines, and ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
- **Compliance and Governance**: Ensure the company operates in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Work with the Board of Directors to establish and refine governance practices.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- 15+ years of proven experience in management in a multicultural setting, as well as experience as a CEO or in other senior managerial positions within the digital media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
- Fluent in English and Chinese, as communication will be crucial for our APAC team.
- Strong understanding of the film and television industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and deliver results.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with community-driven platforms and user-generated content.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial planning.
