Join our team as a Community Support Worker working in North Delta. This permanent part-time role works
20 hours per week at a salary range between $21.63 - 25.19. This position requires union membership.

help people with developmental disabilities by facilitating community connections, family supports, employment
opportunities, and supportive housing options with a commitment to life-long learning, choice and self
- determination.

About the Opportunity
As a part-time Community Support Worker, you will work 13 hours per week at our residential home in North
Delta. You will be actively engaging a supported individual to live a fulfilling and independent life. You assist with
their physical, social, emotional, educational and recreational needs. Responsibilities include (but are not limited
to):

- Following an individual Care Plan,
- Developing monthly plans and facilitating activities based on client’s interests,
- Documenting activities and observations in the client’s file and communication log,
- Food preparation and cooking (knowledge of dysphagia and types of textures required), and
- Medicine administration.

Must be physically healthy to aid in lifting and transferring of person served and be able to provide personal
care including bathing, toileting, and grooming.
- Qualifications- Certificate/diploma/degree in a field related to Human Sciences
- Practical experience working with developmental and physical disabilities
- Unrestricted Class 4 Driver’s License
- FOODSAFE Level 1
- Emergency First Aid & CPR
