Trade Officer

**What is the opportunity?**

Reporting to the Manager, Trade Operations, this position is expected to provide support for all related processing of documentation and administration of all Supply Chain Finance related products (Receivables Financing, Participation Agreements etc.)

**What will you do?**
- Provide premium service in all aspects of the Supply Chain Finance operational workflow including the completion of transaction input, collection of required data from multiple sources, allocation of outgoing and incoming payments and ensuring service delivery standards are met or exceeded
- Point of support for all Supply Chain Finance operational escalations
- Responsible to meet monthly Key Performance Indicators and to participate in Payments and Trade Operations Quality Initiatives.
- Responsible for effective relationship management of all partners, including, but not limited to Banks Brokers & Exchange, Personal & Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, IT, and Products/Sales Management teams
- Referral point for service partners in all businesses throughout RBC for processes relating to the issuing and advising of Supply Chain Finance products and transactional flow
- Track service gaps/client impact errors, performing root cause analysis as required closing gaps, improving service and optimizing operational efficiency

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must have**:

- Strong organizational & decision-making skills.
- Technical aptitude and system documentation proficiency
- Attention to detail with a history of processing with data integrity and accuracy

**Nice-to-have**:

- Knowledge of SWIFT payment and message types (MT700, 100 and 400 series)
- Trade processing software such as Trade 360
- Previous Customer Service experience, Supply Chain Finance
