Engagement Manager

Since its acquisition, SCA has embarked on a fast-growth plan to become a leading player in the niche supply chain consulting industry.

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced operations leader to join our consulting team. Working directly with our Practice Leaders, the Engagement Manager will drive the successful execution of our client projects from initiation to value generation. The Engagement Manager will provide leadership and “know how” when working with our Clients to correctly identify and prioritize their particular challenges, develop and sequence the appropriate solutions, and, oversee the implementation ensuring maximized and measurable results.

**What you will be doing**:

- Managing and developing client relationships across multiple projects, and working closely with Clients to identify new areas of opportunity for value creation
- Leading our both our Clients’ and our internal project teams from strategy development through to implementation
- Monitoring and reporting progress against budgeted cost and timelines
- Supporting sales efforts by identifying areas of opportunity, and developing work plans and project budgets
- Championing SCA’s performance driven culture and customer-focused mindset
- Leading and mentoring junior staff (and often times Clients) through engagement, knowledge share, and coaching

**Daily and monthly responsibilities**:

- Lead project teams in the prioritizing and actioning of work plans through to the successful completion of deliverables and Client delight
- Provide extended capacity to the Practice Leads in resource planning, resource development, sales support, work plan development and the completion of internal projects
- Provide timely and proactive project status updates, key learnings and insights, and issues requiring mitigation or escalation to Practice Leads and Clients
- Build and develop relationships with all team members while driving a culture of collaboration, communication and transparency
- Deliver high-impact presentations and project output that reinforces our brand promise and professionalism

**What you should have**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a similar field
- Formal education in Logistics or Supply Chain
- 7+ years in a leadership role within a field of logistics (DC operations, Transportation)
- Consulting experience with a focus on operations management, network design, transportation
- Demonstrates strong business acumen coupled with deep analytical capability
- Experience planning and leading cross functional projects and teams
- Extreme versatility, dedicated to efficient productivity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience translating data into insights that enable decision making
- Experience with budget management
- Strong project reporting and client management skills
- Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
