As a Team lead, Quality Assurance, you report to the Manager, Quality Assurance.

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the work of the quality assurance team to ensure product quality, both during product development and in production. You must ensure the coordination of team activities with other departments of the company to improve quality or resolve quality issues.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Direct and manage a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to ensure the team meets or exceeds expectations;
- Plan the work of the quality assurance team according to established goals and ensure that work is executed on time and with quality;
- Ensure coordination of the quality assurance team's work with other departments (production, engineering, after-sales support, quality control, change management, etc.);
- Participate in the development of quality assurance plans, risk analysis, product certification and compliance, and ensure their execution;
- Participate in product risk management (RMP, Hazard Analysis, dFMECA, pFMECA, RMR);
- Lead the development, implementation, and updating of control plans;
- Direct and coordinate significant quality problem investigations;
- Support and supervise the complaint management process;
- Monitor non-conformities and evaluate trends in detected non-conformities in production. Direct and prioritize investigations (SPC, process capability, special causes of variation);
- Lead the assessment of deviations/non-conformities in production, participate in root cause analysis, and develop CAPAs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders;
- Analyze key quality indicators and propose improvements to address quality deviations;
- Participate in the development and maintenance of the company's quality management system (updating or developing new processes, participating in internal or external audits, etc.).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in engineering;
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in quality assurance;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in team management;
- Thorough knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC, Cpk/Ppk, GR&R, Control Plan, root cause analysis technics, FMEA, Pareto analysis, MSA, etc);
- Minimum Six Sigma Green Belt certification;
- Registered engineer with the OIQ;
- Experience in the medical or highly regulated industry;
- Knowledge of product certification and applicable regulations (MDR, CE, FCC, RoHS/REACH, FDA, Health Canada);
- Skilled in time management and maintaining schedules in a fast-paced environment;
- Confirmed ability in analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking;
- Team-oriented, influential, pedagogical, and communicative;
- Bilingual (English and French).
