Quality Control Technician in Production

As a Quality Control Technician, your main responsibilities will be to perform inspections of incoming items, during production and finished products according to drawings and plans. Also your responsibilities will be to carry out inspections of in-process items according to inspection instructions. Your expertise in quality control and your outside perspective will play an important role in helping the production team achieve the company's quality objectives.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Perform visual, dimensional and functional checks on components and products, using various measuring tools;
- Document inspection results according to good documentation practices;
- Inspect in-process and finished products;
- Produce and follow up on non-conformance reports (NCR) for defective items;
- Transact non-conforming material in and out of quarantine;
- Collaborate with appropriate team members to track and resolve recurring issues/risks;
- Identify gaps and opportunities to improve production processes to achieve higher quality.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment;
- Detail-oriented, meticulous, observant, critical, team player;
- Reading and interpretation of 2D and 3D drawings (mechanical and electronic).
ASSETS
- Experience in visual inspection (surface finish, microscope);
- Inspection experience on electronic boards (knowledge of IPC-A-610);
- Experience using CMM;
- Good knowledge of English (speaking and writing)
