**Position**

The Coordinator reports directly to the Manager, Development Programs and is required to provide comprehensive program support to University Development and Advancement Services with minimum supervision. They will provide expertise in the areas of reporting, data analysis, project management, monitoring, and coordination in Development. Key areas of focus include, but are not limited to coordinating development activities and maintaining positive relationships with team members and donors. This position works independently and collaboratively, requiring excellent judgment, common sense and an ability to work under very challenging time constraints due to the many and varied priorities within Development.

The position requires an individual who pays close attention to detail and has exceptional interpersonal skills as it involves ongoing communication with all staff in the office, internal and external stakeholders, as well as staff in the other executive offices at the university. Given the confidential nature of the internal and external information that flows through the Development offices, a high degree of discretion and confidentiality is required.

Due to the shifting nature of the responsibilities and assignments, this position also requires an individual who has multiple administrative skill sets, and can excel in environments where workloads can be routine and varied.

**Duties**
- Assists in the coordination of fundraising efforts in Development by providing research and administration/communication support to successfully realize individual projects and identified priorities including: Planned Giving marketing initiatives, events, and training.
- Composes, edits and formats correspondence, reports and confidential material and assists with sending out Planned Giving Quaecumque Vera Honour Society Welcome letters, Planned Giving folders and estate planning packages. This also includes creating reports to assist the team with completing appropriate donor recognition, acknowledgment, stewardship or other program activities.
- Manages assigned projects from start to end. May include providing direction to other individuals working on the project. Develops and implements an agreed project plan and detailed work steps for their projects. Includes managing project administration and ensuring production of the required deliverables.
