The Quality Systems and Compliance Assistant’s main role is to facilitate, and coordinate activities related to the HEXO Quality Management System (QMS). They are responsible for the preparation, management, control and archiving of quality related documentation and the upkeep of the e-QMS system.
- Perform in-process controls such as swab equipment to detect micro-contamination and/or residues, settling plates (air analysis), water tests, etc.
- Review documentation (i.e. batch manufacturing and/or packaging records, etc.) with great attention to detail using working knowledge of quality concepts and internal procedures.
- Coordinate with other Quality and Production staff to ensure all files are prepared or reviewed in a timely manner.
- Prepare and submit quality survey reports.
- Check production equipment records for preventive maintenance and calibrations, including in-room scales, probes, and equipment filters.
- Ensure all activities are documented as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch manufacturing instructions and are in compliance with the GDP and the Cannabis Regulations.
- Participate in process improvement activities and participate in appropriate recycling
- Work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Comply with quality standards procedures, policies and guidelines
- Otcher assigned tasks

**Qualifications**:

- B. High School diploma, or 2 years of college preferred
- Familiarity with GMP, GPP, as well as other regulated industries
