Intermediate Technician

**Position Overview**:
Calian is looking for Intermediate Technician for a Fuel Laboratory in Gatineau.

- Full Time**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support to the section or the development of other ISO 17025, training and/or information management; proposing suitable procedures and appropriate recommendations in order to improve work quality
- Plan and organize work to meet deadlines. Analyze, evaluate and resolve technical problems in a logical manner
- Draft and maintain SOPs associated with ISO 17025 certification
- Draft general correspondence and provide briefings in order to communicate issues, resolve problems, update work status, and disseminate information
- Coordinate quality system audits and assist in the performance of quality system audits

**Qualifications**:

- Must currently hold or be eligible for Secret - Level II Clearance with the Government of Canada
- College certificate in analytical chemistry or 9 years of experience in the past 15 as a technician performing chemical analysis
- Four years of experience in providing advice and direction on regulations, acquisition and control of petroleum, oil, fuels, and lubricants related to but not limited to aviation
- One year of experience in coordinating the field audits and assisting in the performance of field audits at fueling facilities
