Bruce Chrysler is a leading provider of Automotive Services, and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our team. As a Service Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional service experiences to our valued customers.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Provide outstanding customer service, handle customer complaints and maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating
- Ensure repair work is done right the first time and completed on time. Reduce comebacks by coaching/supporting technicians to practice good workmanship
- Inspect orders for proper completion and pricing accuracy
- Assist in the planning of departmental goals and objectives
- Motivate employees to reach and exceed goals and take an active role within the department
- Ensure that department receivables are current and that warranty is promptly closed and managed
- Assist in the selection process of finding top talent
- Ensure training for all employees and encourage technicians to keep their skills up-to-date through technical training offered by manufacturers
- Keep up-to-date with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures
- Work closely with the Customer Care Center on booking appointments
- Monitor employee performance, set goals and be of support to employees’ growth

- We are looking for someone who is/has:
- Previous management and leadership experience
- Previous experience in the automotive service environment
- Excellent communication skills, motivation, and coaching
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and goal-driven
- People-oriented personality, self-motived, and a determined individual with outstanding customer service
- Adaptable and able to grab opportunities as they present themselves
- Strong computer skills (PBS experience is considered an asset)
- Valid Driver’s License and Acceptable driving record
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in automotive service management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, repair processes, and industry standards
