Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this individual is responsible for leading the team to deliver excellent customer service consistent with Trail Appliances expectations by driving the overall improvement of all warehouse duties, customer service, techniques and objectives.
**As a Warehouse Team Lead you will**:
- Provide leadership and support to your team, ensuring team and business goals are widely communicated and understood
- Demonstrate you are a strong team player by collaborating with your peers to promote positive relationships which deliver excellent results
- Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effort
- Facilitate problem solving and collaboration
- Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues
- Coach and help develop team members
- Ensuring Health and Safety compliance is maintained at all times, addressing any potential risks immediately
- Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the team
- Other duties as assigned

**The experience we need**:
- Minimum 2 years warehouse experience (leading a team of 5 or more individuals)
- Stand-up/Sit-down counter balance experience and certification. Carton Clamp operation desired.
- Experience with Reach Truck operation
- Knowledge of reverse logistics would be an asset
- Minimum Grade 12 Education
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills in regards to customer service, including the ability to deal with situations where information is difficult to obtain, complex or ambiguous
- Ability to establish priorities, work and think independently and in a team-setting, handle multiple ongoing issues and achieve objectives without direct supervision
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
