Limelight Cheer All-Stars, a division of Limelight Performing Arts, is dedicated to fostering athletic excellence, teamwork, and spirit through our cheerleading program. We believe in the power of cheerleading to inspire confidence, promote physical fitness, and create lifelong friendships. This is a seasonal position with the possibility of leading into a permanent position during the regular season.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Cheer Coach. As a coach, you will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring our cheerleading squads, guiding them to achieve their full potential both on and off the field.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs focused on skill development, technique, and choreography for cheerleading routines.
- Lead regular practice sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all team members.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to athletes, helping them to improve their skills and performance.
- Choreograph dynamic and engaging cheerleading routines for performances, competitions, and events.
- Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among team members, promoting a positive team culture.
- Collaborate with fellow coaches, staff, and parents to coordinate team activities, travel logistics, and fundraising efforts.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for athletes, instilling values of discipline, dedication, and respect.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience coaching child and youth athletics preferred. Cheerleading at the high school, collegiate, or competitive level, highly desired.
- Strong background in cheerleading techniques, stunts, tumbling, and dance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification prior to the start of the season).
- Commitment to upholding the values of sportsmanship, inclusivity, and integrity in all aspects of coaching.

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 35 per week
