**Title**: Corporate Services Student, Co-op
**Contract**: Temporary (3-4 months)
**Hours**: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
**Location**: Sinclair Office, Vancouver B.C. - In-person

**About the role**
As the Corporate Services Student, you will work with the Fleet & Accommodations team in the planning, development, and implementation of various requests issued through Corporate Services. Acting as a representative of FNHA, you will use various methods of communication to connect with numerous FNHA staff members, Landlord reps, and external contractors. You will have the opportunity to discuss requests, coordinate work efforts, and conduct follow ups post-project completion alongside executing the day-to-day delivery of the CorpServ service and maintenance program.

We are looking for a passionate and active team player who is eager to join us in reshaping the future Duties may of your role may include (but are not limited to): occasional data entry; installation of wall hung items; assisting in the management of inventory control; building, moving, shipping, delivering, and receiving furniture; and overseeing outside contractors. In addition, you will be embraced into a learning environment with opportunities to enhance your understanding of First Nations’ culture and traditions, and FNHA’s role in improving health outcomes for First Nations peoples in BC.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will:

- Be a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year student enrolled in an undergraduate program related to Business, Building Management, or Trades. Building Trades experience with a working knowledge of building construction methodology including either mechanical, electrical, or building construction is an asset.
- Possess a valid Class 5 Drivers License and be willing to use your own motor vehicle for personal transportation between sites (mileage and parking may be charged back to FNHA at cost / 52 cents per KM).
- Have the ability to take direction while also prioritizing and organizing your own workload and assigned projects. You are comfortable multitasking across multiple priorities and working independently with limited supervision.
- Be experienced with a variety of construction hand tools. You will also have the physical abilities to perform the duties of the role, such as: lifting up to 35lb boxes onto dollies; moving furniture; and assembling, deconstructing, and repairing systems and casegoods furniture such as chairs, tables, desks, cabinets, and other office furniture partitions.
- Show excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be open minded and respectful with a willingness to learn. Knowledge and experience in First Nations traditions, customs, and etiquette is preferred.
